Last weekend EXPOÓPTICA was held, the most important fair of optics in Spain. We were there at the ZEISS stand to see first hand its novelties for this 2018. The German brand with more than 160 years of existence is the reference manufacturer worldwide, its lenses have the best quality and the best precision, proof of this is that ZEISS lenses are used by the aerospace industry.
El pasado fin de semana se celebró EXPOÓPTICA, la feria de óptica mas importante en España, allí estuvimos en el stand de ZEISS para conocer de primera mano sus novedades para este 2018. La firma alemana con mas de 160 años de existencia es el fabricante de referencia a nivel mundial, sus lentes tienen la mejor calidad y la mejor precisión, prueba de ello es que las lentes ZEISS son las utilizadas por la industria aeroespacial.
This year ZEISS has launched a world novelty in ophthalmic lenses, the UVProtect technology, providing ultraviolet protection (UV400) to its entire lens catalog. ZEISS has made this advance in a unique way by introducing the UV400 protection inside the 1.5 index organic material without modifying the transparency of the lenses. With this innovation ZEISS manages to be the only manufacturer to provide UV400 protection on all its lenses independently of the anti-reflective treatment.
Este año ZEISS ha lanzado una novedad mundial en lentes oftálmicas, la tecnología UVProtect, dotando de protección ultravioleta (UV400) a todo su catálogo de lentes. ZEISS ha realizado este avance de una manera única introduciendo en el propio material orgánico de índice 1,5 la protección UV400 sin modificar la transparencia de las lentes. Con esta innovación ZEISS consigue ser el único fabricante en dar una protección UV400 en todas sus lentes independientemente del tratamiento antirreflejante.
We were able to attend a small talk with the product manager of the German house where he explained the action of UV rays and their harmful effects on the skin and the importance of protecting ourselves from them properly. Usually we protect our skin with sunscreen but we forget the eyelids and the ocular structures, now it is possible to protect your eyes all day thanks to the ZEISS UVProtect lenses.
Pudimos asistir a una pequeña charla con el jefe de producto de la casa alemana que nos explicó la acción de los rayos UV, sus efectos nocivos para la piel y la importancia de protegernos correctamente de ellos. Habitualmente protegemos nuestra piel con crema solar pero olvidamos los párpados y las propias estructuras oculares, que ahora podemos proteger gracias a las lentes ZEISS UVProtect.
Apart from the launch of UVProtect technology, we were able to see the entire catalog of optical devices for the exploration, diagnosis and control performed in the optometric cabinet. ZEISS seeks that the clinical experience is complete, providing the optometrist with all the tools to perform the best optometric examination involving the patient in the experience from the first moment he enters the establishment.
A parte del lanzamiento de la tecnología UVProtect pudimos ver todo el catálogo de aparatos ópticos destinados a la exploración, diagnóstico y control realizados en el gabinete optométrico. ZEISS busca que la experiencia clínica sea completa, dotando al òptico-optometrista de todas las herramientas para realizar el mejor examen optométrico involucrando al paciente en la experiencia desde el primer momento que entra en el establecimiento.
All the clinical tools of ZEISS are correlated with each other thanks to a computer system to create a profile with all the tests performed on each patient to arrive at the best possible solution and with the greatest personalization.
