Hola a tod@s!! hoy os traemos un post especial sobre la presentación de la nueva colección de NINA MÛR que se realizó hace unas semanas en singular espacio del COAM (Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos) en Madrid . Sabíamos que íbamos a ver muchas novedades para esta temporada pero la realidad ha superado a la ficción con creces y podemos vaticinar sin ninguna duda que la joven marca española se va a consagrar como una de las marcas mas importantes del panorama independiente.
Sabéis que NINA MÛR es una de las marcas que seguimos desde el principio del blog, compartimos con ellos nuestros comienzos y después de 4 años de trabajo se han convertido en algo mas que una marca y de lo cual nos sentimos orgullosos.
Hello everyone! Today we bring you a special post about the presentation of the new collection of NINA MÛR that was held some weeks ago in the unique space of the COAM (Official College of Architects) in Madrid. We knew we were going to see many new features for this season but the reality has outgrown the fiction and we can predict without any doubt that the young Spanish brand will be consecrated as one of the most important brands in the independent scene.
You know that NINA MÛR is one of the brands that we follow since the beginning of the blog, we share our beginnings with them and after 4 years of work they have become something more than a brand and of which we are proud.
Os hacemos una pequeña introducción de ellos antes de meternos en materia: NINA MÛR está formado fundamentalmente por Lorena Serrano y Davide Fichera, han querido desde sus inicios hacer las mejores gafas de madera realizadas nunca y para ello han creado a su alrededor una «micro-industria» artesanal controlando ellos todo el proceso de diseño y fabricación a mano «una a una». Su primera colección fruto de la experimentación con nuevos materiales hizo que introdujeran los laminados que se utilizan para fabricar muebles en el exterior de sus gafas creando una alianza con la empresa italiana ABET LAMINATI pionera por impulsar y apoyar a creadores tan importantes como el movimiento Memphis en elos años 80s. Esta primera colección llamada MOBILE ha revolucionado el mundo de las gafas de madera consiguiendo acabados con colores y texturas nunca vistas hasta ahora. Además de esta innovación su han realizado varias colaboraciones experimentales con artistas españoles utilizando otras técnicas como la pintura al agua como «EBRU» para crear colecciones muy limitadas para su venta exclusiva en el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza de Madrid.
Con un diseño exquisito han llegado hasta hoy como una de las promesas dentro del diseño, lo que os mostramos va un paso mas allá en varios sentidos ya que no solo presentan sus nuevas colecciones sino que se consagran como diseñadores utilizando las gafas como vehículo de expresión.

Este fue el motivo principal de la presentación, su nueva colección está creada como homenaje al movimiento MEMPHIS de los años 80s liderado por el arquitecto Ettore Sottssas. Esta colección única está creada con los estampados y materiales originales cedidos por ABET LAMINATI utilizados por primera vez en un artículo de moda incluyendo el mundialmente conocido diseño «bacterio». Sin duda ambos modelos de esta colección cápsula y sus distintas variantes son increíbles y un «must» para coleccionistas de gafas y objetos de diseño únicos, es emocionante poder descubrir gafas como estas!

WINONA no es una colección en si, WINONA es un homenaje que ha querido hacer la diseñadora a los años 90s, y queremos darle su importancia ya que se está creando una nueva tendencia de gafas con un tamaño mas estrecho volviendo a los años 90s. NINA MÛR ha creado WINONA, una forma en forma de avellana con unos detalles de diseño únicos gracias a la introducción de un detalle de joyería con un tigre en la varilla que completa el diseño del frente y hace que esta gafa se única. Además de esta pieza especial, el modelo WINONA está disponible en otros formatos de colores y distintas varillas.

MOBILE es la colección principal de NINA MÛR, digamos que es la colección «basic» que vertebra a todas las demás, pero lejos de ser una colección estática, esta temporada ha incluido varias novedades completando las múlltiples opciones disponibles, por un lado han diseñado una nueva varilla metálica más fina y sútil para los que buscan ligereza y elegancia que se suman a las dos opciones ya existentes (madera y plancha de acero). Por otro lado han ampliado la variedad de laminados de ABET LAMINATI con diferentes estampados y colores únicos además de incluir detalles de con volumen con laminados mezclando colores aportando una nueva dimensión a la colección

Otra novedad que abre camino en la multitud de opciones que ofrece NINA MÛR es la experimentación con apliques de joyería que al igual que en el modelo WINONA cambian por completo el aspecto de una gafa, en este caso han incluido detalles con volúmenes que adornan a dos de sus modelos mas característicos LILIANA y RAFAELA

Una verdadera sorpresa, otra colaboración única en su afán de hacer cosas distintas es la nueva colección cápsula de piezas únicas para su venta exclusiva en el Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. En este caso la han hecho con el famoso estudio de diseño CISZAK DALMAS y el resultado es hipnotizante a la vez que sorprendente. Se han inspirado en cuadros de estilo barroco rescatando la antigua técnica de carvado de madera para buscar nuevas texturas y el empleo de materiales como el pan de oro, «encapsulando» la obra de arte gracias a un resina exterior que necesita de tres días de trabajo artesanal para darle el acabado final. Verdaderas obras de arte a otro nivel.

Por último hacemos un «remind» de la colección especial METRICA que lanzaron hace pocos meses en colaboración con MALABABA, una de las tiendas mas importantes que fomenta el diseño «made in spain» y la artesanía local. Esta colección MÉTRICA consta de 3 modelos, CIRCLE, SCUARE & TRIANGLE, poco podemos decir de estas tres gafas salvo que son impactantes.
Finally, we make a «remind» of the special METRICA collection that was launched a few months ago in collaboration with MALABABA, one of the most important stores that promotes «made in spain» design and local crafts. Aquí termina nuestro repaso por la nueva colección que NINA MÛR ha hecho y sinceramente nos ha encantado y estamos verdaderamente impresionados con el derroche de creatividad. Este año estarán presentes en las citas mas importantes en el mundo de las gafas empezando por OPTI en Munich, MIDO en Milán y COPENHAGUEN SPECS, serán buenas oportunidades para ver sus gafas en directo.
